ASB has been like a dream come true. I have been going through this infertility journey for nearly 3 and a half years. I started off as a single mom by choice at the age of 40. Unfortunately, that cycle was failed because although the doctor (from a different clinic) retrieved 14 of my own eggs, 10 fertilized and all 10 came back with chromosomal abnormalities. I was devastated and heartbroken. I was thinking how could all 10 have an abnormality. My desire to be a mother never stopped so I was literally doing a search online in fall of 2021 and that is where I saw a message from the program director on the Atlantic Shared Beginnings website. She talked about a guarantee program and I just knew in my heart that I needed to learn more about this guarantee program, because all I want is to be able to take my precious baby home one day. Once I talked with her, I was sold and signed up. She is so supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and has been a guide to me during this process since day 1. Now at the age of 43, no longer single, but with a loving boyfriend by my side, we decided that we would do the donor donor program and it has by far been the best decision we have made to date as a couple. The care that we have received at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialist has been so amazing. My infertility journey has has some bumps in the road, and many delays along the way, but I never gave up because I know that I am destined for motherhood. In fact we are scheduled for our transfer very soon in the coming week and we are so excited. I wish you and your family all the best as you consider using ASB.
