Tina Manley began her nursing career in 1991 as a new graduate in Labor and Delivery at Duke Hospital. After six years in the inpatient setting, she transitioned to outpatient care as a nurse manager. Her leadership skills were quickly recognized, and within three years she was promoted to Health Center Administrator for the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division. In this role, Tina collaborated with Dr. David Walmer to establish the Duke Fertility Center, an innovative offsite facility. It was during this time that she also formed lasting professional relationships with Dr. Walmer and Dr. Susannah Copland.
In 2012, after 21 years at Duke, Tina made a pivotal decision to join Dr. Walmer and Dr. Copland in launching Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialists. Today, as Chief Operating Officer of Shared Beginnings, she is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, ensuring the highest standards of care and efficiency across clinical and administrative teams.
Tina is widely respected for her calm, strong, and professional presence. Her colleagues describe her as a natural leader who builds high-performing teams by recognizing individual talents and placing people in roles where they thrive.
A lifelong resident of Northern Orange County, Tina still lives in the home she built with her husband, just across from where she was raised. Family is at the heart of everything Tina does. She and her husband have two daughters and are proud grandparents. During the summer months, you’ll often find them enjoying time together at the lake, making the most of their love for the water.
